"proud to be supported by Bolton's AHDC Pathfinder, transforming short breaks for disabled children"
AHDC awarded K2g a capital grant making the purchase of a wide range of camping equipment possible. We'll be trying out our new tent and gadgets during our first ever residential trip very soon.
The equipment is also available for hire to families of children with disabilities in the Bolton area - and in this way we hope to be able to provide affordable and flexible holidays to your choice of destination.
Prices range from only £25 for a weekend to £50 for a week.
The Kalahari 8 berth tent is a spacious and stable tunnel-style tent that's packed with features and versatility for a stress-free camping experience.
It's pre-attached high-visibility guylines, slick pole sleeves, and welded polyethylene groundsheet make pitching the tent a quick and easy affair.
The living space is a generous 7.6m², and the bedrooms comfortably sleep four at each end of the tent, in a 2+2 inner arrangement with breathable inner walls.
The sewn-in groundsheet combined with the fire-retardant polyester flysheet (with 3000mm hydrostatic head) give you a fully sealed and ventilated internal environment, so you'll be completely protected from draughts and even the heaviest sustained downpours.
The large living space has two 'privacy' windows and hanging storage pockets to help keep it tidy and liveable.
The two doors can be propped and extended out to use as a canopy, using the steel porch poles, giving you shelter from rain or stretching the space out for more room if it's sunny.
Other features include water-repellent zips, an electrical cable access point, and multiple ventilation points along the roof line.
Easy to pitch, generously spaced and comfortable to live in, the Kalahari 8 berth is a great choice for families who need convenience and quality wherever they're going.
